At Gorilla Spores, we are committed to providing high-quality microscopy products. Please read this policy carefully before placing your order, as it explains how we handle returns, replacements, and international shipping issues.

By placing an order with Gorilla Spores, you agree to the terms outlined below.

1. No Refund Policy

Due to the sensitive and sterile nature of our products, we do not offer refunds under any circumstances once an order has been dispatched.

This includes (but is not limited to):

  • Change of mind
  • Incorrect items ordered by the customer
  • Delayed delivery caused by postal services
  • International customs delays
  • Refused deliveries

All sales are considered final.

2. Faulty or Damaged Items (Replacement Policy)

If you receive a product that is:

  • Damaged during transit
  • Faulty upon arrival
  • Incorrect compared to your order

We will offer a replacement item only (not a refund).

We reserve the right to assess claims before approving a replacement.

Approved replacements will be shipped at our discretion.

3. Sterile & Microscopy Products – No Returns

For hygiene and contamination control reasons:

  • We do not accept returned products.
  • Opened or tampered items cannot be replaced.
  • We cannot restock returned sterile goods.

This policy protects both our customers and product integrity.

4. International Orders & Customs

Customers are fully responsible for understanding the laws and import regulations in their country before placing an order.

For international shipments:

  • If a package is seized, destroyed, or held by customs, we do not offer replacements or refunds.
  • If a package is returned to us due to customs refusal or failed delivery attempts, we do not reship or refund the order.

Once an order leaves the UK, it becomes the responsibility of the buyer to ensure compliance with local laws.

We strongly recommend checking your country’s regulations before purchasing.

5. Shipping Issues

If tracking shows a parcel as delivered, we are not responsible for:

  • Lost or stolen packages
  • Incorrect addresses entered at checkout
  • Missed delivery attempts

Please ensure all shipping details are correct at the time of purchase.

6. Order Cancellations

Orders cannot be cancelled once dispatched.

If you wish to cancel an order, you must contact us immediately after placing it. Cancellation is not guaranteed if the order has already entered processing.
