We aim to keep shipping simple, discreet, and reliable. All orders are sent with tracking so you can follow your parcel from dispatch to delivery.
UK Shipping
- Royal Mail Tracked 48 – £3.00
Tracking via email/SMS. Delivered in 2–3 working days after dispatch. - Royal Mail Tracked 24 – £4.00
Tracking via email/SMS. Delivered in 1–2 working days after dispatch. - Royal Mail Special Delivery – £10.00
Next working day delivery by 1 pm. Parcel must be signed for.
International Shipping
- Royal Mail International Tracked – £12 (Europe)

Note: Shipping times are estimates provided by the carrier and may vary due to local conditions.
Dispatch Times
We aim to dispatch all orders received by 1 pm Monday–Friday on the same working day. Orders placed after 1 pm, at weekends, or on bank holidays will be dispatched on the next available working day.
Please remember that carriers such as Royal Mail do not deliver on bank holidays or weekends, so delivery may take a little longer during those periods.
Customs & International Orders
If you are ordering from outside the UK, your order may be subject to customs duties, taxes, or VAT depending on your country’s regulations. These charges are the responsibility of the purchaser, and we cannot predict the amount as it varies by destination.
Once your order reaches customs, we have no control over processing times – occasionally parcels can be delayed. All international shipments are prepared with care to aid customs processing, but clearance delays are out of our hands.
Please ensure you are familiar with the legality and import regulations for microscope spores in your country before placing an order.
Discreet Packaging
Your privacy is important. All Gorilla Spores orders are shipped in plain packaging with no references to spores or website names on the outside. The only information on the label is what’s required by the carrier, ensuring discretion and peace of mind.
Storage Advice & Product Care
Spore Syringes
Spore syringes are best used soon after arrival, but when stored correctly they can remain suitable for microscopy for many months. Refrigerate syringes at 2–8 °C in a cool, dark place to extend their lifespan. Keep them in their original packaging to reduce the risk of contamination.
Spore Prints
Spore prints are very stable when kept in a cool, dry, dark place sealed in their original packaging. With proper storage, prints can remain suitable for years.
Spore Swabs
Handle and store spore swabs in a similar way to prints: cool, dry, and sealed – this ensures the best preservation of spores.
